About the work:

In my work Fortepiano Concerto (2017), I write for a historical fortepiano from around 1800 tuned in 430hz (ca. 1⁄4 flat) surrounded by modern instruments including a modern Steinway, who becomes a shadow soloist, conversation partner and ultimately combining with the fortepiano soloist to become a quartertone hyperpiano.
